Yes… There is a medical therapy associated with watching a movie. Film Therapy is a treatment process which is used by therapists for treating medical and mental health issues. When we watch a movie, the fictional character in the movie turns out to be a real one for the ones who watch. The character lives within them which can also have an influence in our thoughts and behaviour. This effect while watching a movie made Dr. Gary Solomon to invent this fabulous therapy.

CASE STUDY
Now here, I’ve provided the benefits of watching a movie or film with the help of a case study on the animation movies, Kung Fu Panda 1, Kung Fu Panda 2 and Kung Fu Panda 3.
THEME
Most animation films will have a mix of emotional, funny and inspirational story base. Nevertheless, all the three parts of Kung Fu Panda movies gave the similar chill. The main plot of the movie is about the struggles faced by the panda Po to learn Kung Fu from his master and his fight with Tai Lung to save the Valley of Peace (Part 1), his battle to save the world from evil peacock Lord Shen and also his investigation about his past (Part 2) and his realization of himself (Part 3)
POSITIVE ATTITUDE
The movie is based on a fat panda which ultimately anchors the fact that appearances are not important to be successful. Good principles like “Never Stop dreaming”, “Try hard to achieve things you like”, “With belief, anything is possible” etc. are sown in the hearts of the people who watches these movies. Also, several other facts and good moral principles learnt from these movies are displayed below.
WHY ANIMATION MOVIES?
For any parents who are willing to show their offspring good movies, then animation movies are a great choice. This is because
Most of the Animation movies are free from harmful contents and are based on moral principles like Brother’s love, Parent’s love for their child, Forgiveness, Peace etc. But few animation movies have harmful and sensitive content which leads the children in the wrong path. Thus, it is the duty of the parents to watch the movies first before allowing their kids to watch them.

Also, we should not watch film for a long time as they may affect our brain nerves. Children are more susceptible to this effect.
